It’s that time of year again. Stumptown Comics Fest time! This weekend! This year I’ll be at table B02, along with Jimmy. If you’re in the Portland area, please come say hello! Ask me about Golden Nights, or lets chat about comics and stuff. I’d love to see you all!I’ll have the comic I’ve been working on with Dan Tabayoyon (Red Sky) as well as some smaller versions of the Golden Nights posters, a few other prints, and some buttons and other little goodies. I’ll be doing sketch commissions at the show as well.Looking forward to seeing you!

One can never have too many Kate Kane sketches in their sketchbook!

I really, really miss having Amanda Conner draw Power Girl. I’d never much liked the character at all, but her art (of course along with the writing of Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray) infused her with so much humor and personality, that she became a favorite. I recommend those issues to people all the time! It seemed so unfortunate that the big DC relaunch came right as Power Girl had really become an interesting character to me, and basically wiped her out. She’s finally back now, but it’s just really not the same. Never thought I’d miss the silly boob window costume so much.
Also, Amanda Conner is incredibly nice, and was very kind to me at San Diego Comic Con last year.

Hey, guess what? I’m totally working on another issue of Red Sky with Dan Tabayoyon. I’m super excited to be drawing this one! It should be a lot of fun, with plenty of swashbuckling adventure, intrigue, and perhaps even a little romance. Good times!

This weekend, I’ll be at Stumptown Comics Fest, selling Here Nor There, a short comic I did with Terry Blas! It’s about bad dates, and pridefulness, and getting really enthusiastic about TV shows.
I’ll have some copies at my table, but if you really want one, and REALLY don’t want to see me, Terry will have some at his table, too! If you’re in the Portland area, come say hello! And maybe pick up a comic. I’ll have some prints too, and I’ll be happy to do sketches!
Will any of you be there? Is there anything you’d particularly like to see a print of? I’ll be at table C-6 with Matt Grigsby and Jimmy Presler, and would love to see you! (Yes, you.)

A quick little fanart of the new Captain Marvel!
I’ve met Kelly Sue DeConnick at a couple of events now, and she’s always been super awesome and exceptionally nice. She was kind enough to chat with me for a little bit at ECCC, until tragedy struck and one of her children broke their Star Wars toy. It was very sad. But I did get to see some lovely art from some upcoming comics. Thank you! :D

Workin on comics!

Workin on comics!

Jimmy requested I draw the Creeper wearing a Christmas sweater… so here you go Jimmy. Just a quick drawing. Merry Christmas guys!
Sorry I haven’t been around, but I’ve been working pretty much every day at work the last couple weeks. I’ll have a little more free time starting next week! Of course I’m also working on that project for Terry! So maybe not, haha.
